Day-to-day:
 
  • Running door jambs in preparation for assembly  
  • Pulling orders of door slabs in preparation for assembly  
  • Wrapping finished product on skids in prep for job site delivery  
  • Cut casing for door entry ways for our customers.  
  • Proficient experience with miter/circular saws, drills, and routers 
  • Run and operate our Norfield Door line and “Magnum” machine for special jobs. 
  • Learn and become proficient in all steps of our door production process.
  • Keep a clean work area.  
  • Adhere to safety rules set forth by Contract Lumber/OSHA 
  • Assemble Double doors using precise measurements and customer requests. 

Skill Set:
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions and procedures.
  • Ability to read/write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Detail oriented, timeliness and an efficiency-based approach. 
  • Team player, strong communicator, and advanced interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to appropriately prioritize tasks to meet varied and conflicting organization demands.
  • Working knowledge of materials and job-site processes used within the construction industry.
